Comparison!

This is not where I should be is a very dangerous story we tell ourselves every time change knock.

They say fear kills more dreams, I would say “this is not where I am supposed to be” killed more dreams than fear ever would.

Walking Alone!

As an adult, do you like walking alone or walking with people? I love walking alone. In fact, I prefer it.

It’s the best time for me to muse, meditate, and wonder. Walking alone is like a chance to meet your inner friend who awaits in your shadow.

A Wednesday in Nigeria!

I’m done with these drivers! Those were my thoughts as I was on my way to collect a package from a driver at agreed station. Of course, I was supposed to have collected the package from the driver since the previous day but due to the man’s dishonest attitude and not keeping to promise, I couldn’t. I had called him thrice on the supposed delivery day, the first time I called; I prayed for him for safe journey. The second time was 6hrs after and we almost got into an argument. He said; Why am I disturbing him? What’s my problem? I was totally suprised, I told him I just called to check on you, to ask of your current location. “Don’t disturb me, I’m still on my way,” he said.

Pain demands to be felt!

Fundamentally, there are two ways to kill a person. Either you stop the heart or you stop the flow of oxygen to the brain. Likewise, there are two ways to life; Life is a combination of happiness and pain.

We live in such a fast pace world, everything happens so quickly, we have got fast version, fast food, fast Internet. I think we have lost the idea of pains and patience.

Memories.

Why is it that you can remember the name of your childhood friend that you haven’t seen in years yet easily forget the name of a person you just met a moment ago? In other words, why are some memories stable over decades, while others fade within minutes?
