I am someone that will enjoy movies not only because of their actions and adventures but also because of their speeches. Speeches have the power to move us emotionally and to even change the way we think of life.
I watched a movie recently, the speech there was short, sweet, true fact, and informal, which exactly fitted the movie. Great speech and a movie well worth watching. The speech was about the king encouraging his soldiers to fight for their freedom from France. The king said………

As you know, it’s suprising just how many people suddenly decide not to go back home and start a whole new life, take on a whole new existence. Usually it’s because of marital, financial problems, emotional problem, depression , whatever the circumstances, it’s a pretty cowardly way out buh it does happen.
Rape is an act of violence and control. People of all ages, appearances, of all classes, cultures, abilities, genders, sexualities, races, and religions are raped. The perceived ” attractiveness” of a victim has very little to do with it. The majority of sexual assaults and rapes are committed by men against women and children.
The norms and the law is that consent to sex is when someone agrees by choice and has the freedom and capacity to make that choice. Taking sexual advantage of a person who is incapacitated through alcohol or who is mentally or physically incapable of giving consent is RAPE.
According to Leo Buscaglia, “Love is life and if you miss love, you miss life.” He also said “the life and love we create is the life and love we live”.
I shall not bore you with several definitions because virtually everyone can define it in a way.
I can identify four types of love: the filial/familial, the friendly/platonic, the romantic/sexual and the agape
Love is defined as “a complex set of emotions, behaviors and beliefs associated with strong feelings of affection, protectiveness, warmth, and respect for another person.
The most common way to define boredom is having nothing to do. Almost everyone suffers from it in the course of their lives.
Boredom is just a message sent to you by your subconscious mind to tell that there are more important things to do than what you are doing now.
Why do we get bored of things we used to like?
Marilyn Monroe said “Give a girl the right shoes, and she can rule the world”.
Shoes that we wear reveal a lot about our personalities. That is, we wear our hearts not on our sleeves but on our shoes.
Can you tell a lot about a person by their shoes? Yes, apparently it does. Just by shoe-gazing or simply taking a look at shoes! Shoes can be used as a cue to predict with a striking 90% accuracy of someone’s personality or even his/her mood on that day.
What are you doing today to celebrate Yourself? Not sure? You don’t have time? The fact I know is that the life of this world is nothing but amusement, diversion, adornment, boasting to one another and competition in increase of wealth. You can’t appreciate yourself yet because you’ve not gotten your goal? Are you too hard on yourself? Is it because of your thirst for success? Is life that too hard? You have to be extremely careful, Extremely careful because over doing it may lead to “Self hate”. You will lack self appreciation.
We all have the potential to develop mental health problems no matter how old we are, whether we are male or female, rich or poor, or which ethnic group we belong to.
I think men may need to be taught to think beyond their own stereotypes because our boys are being taught it’s not manly to cry or show vulnerability. Some men see mental issues as a sign of weakness or as something they should know how to snap out of it. They would often rather bottle up their feelings than to seek help, hard men(Smiles).
Cyberbullying is when someone, typically a teenager, bullies or harasses others on the Internet like posting rumors, threats, sexual remarks, a victim’s personal information. Cyber-bullying also known as online bullying.
Over the past week , There has been usage of anonymous messaging platform throughout Nigeria. The platform was originally designed for exchanging anonymous messages before it was transfered into a breeding ground for hate, where some people posts negative information, Critiques of fellow students and mean things about people.
